skekUng, the General -panneaux

This new Dark Crystal panneaux features skekUng, the General, Garthim-master, and second emperor to the skeksis kind.
His belicist tendencies are displayed in this portrait, where he rather appear from behind as to look more threatening, peering over his broad shoulders with a snarling frown, and holding high his dueling sword in pride.
This drawing was made by pencil sketching and quill-inking, and took about two hours to be completed.
Again, it was made between 3 and 5 a.m. Why is it always that, the best hour to strike at hard, complicated drawings?...
My eyes might burn out when I undertake the mission of making the next one of this series!...I spent half of the drawing time sketching freely, and having fun...and the rest inking cautiously, afraid I may ruin the whole thing, and imagining the Garthim master's voice, growling a warning: "If you spill ONE blot of ink in my armor, or my ceremonial sword...YOU'LL PAY."...
Seems I got away with it this time!...No failures in the inking proccess!
